More cricket please
Tom enjoyed the cricket so much on boxing that day that we went again. We got up early and got the bus over to the MCG to watch South Africa bat again. We got a few beers and this time we sat on a lower tier just above the Boony army. Which was great, when the cricket got a bit boring or when they stopped for drinks the Boony army's entertainment was ample to keep us amused. You can see the British mentality in each one of then. Some got in fights, others were banging on the chairs and walls like apes and the majority chanted rude chants at the police. The spent all day playing keep away from the staff and police that tried to take their various inflatable, some of which included a blow up lady, condoms and the odd more conventional beach ball. The weather was awesome, not a cloud in the sky. We sat there all day and got a little tipsy. South Africa had a blinder and chased down the Aussies lead and went 56 runs to the good. I had a really good laugh listening to the radio and Later that evening we headed back to hostel and chilled out. We both had a really good day topped of with a visit to the local chip shop.
